Every revolver in this case was a presentation piece, and several were personally given by Samuel Colt. These firearms represent the era when Colt was building his reputation not only with innovation, but through influential personal relationships and strategic gifting. Presentation arms like these opened doors, forged alliances, and helped cement Colt as a powerhouse in American arms manufacturing. Kevin’s display earned Best of Show, and it’s easy to see why — original cases, factory engraving, exquisite condition, and some of the most significant early Colt provenance one could hope to witness in a single collection.
