2025 CCA Show Gun
Our 2025 CCA Show Gun!
This year's All Colt Show & Auction is a celebration of a new generation of Colt firearms. During our past 20 years of Show Gun production, we have concentrated on vintage Colt guns presented in traditional engraving styles. Those engraving styles focused on Colt scrolls and coverages with significant themes and gold work applications. The Colt Python, one of the most recognized and celebrated of all modern Colt Firearms, had never been presented as a Show Gun by the CCA. CCA 2025 represents a fresh and exciting new kind of CCA Show Gun.
Tom Harvey - CCA Master Engraver
Tom Harvey began his career as a jeweler until 1988 when he was hired on the Evansville Indiana Fire Department. At this time jewelry became a hobby. Having an interest in engraving Tom purchased engraving equipment to explore engraving jewelry. In late 1990, a friend encouraged him to engrave a firearm for him. He spent the next few years drawing, researching techniques, and engraving firearms part-time. Retiring from the Evansville Fire Department in 2018 allowed him the time to engrave full-time for clients, retailers, and firearms to sell. He attained the Master Engraver level in 2022 from the Firearms Engravers Guild of America. At present, he serves as Sargent of Arms for FEGA. Tom has received numerous FEGA engraving awards, The Engraver’s Choice Award, Artistic Uniqueness Award, and Best Engraved Shotgun. He also contributed to the FEGA’s 2024 Auction Firearm. In 2021, Tom received the CCA Judges Choice Award for his 1911 Colt Indy 500 Firearm.
In 2023, Tom was appointed CCA Master Engraver to engrave the 2025 Concord CCA All Colt Show Auction Python Firearm.
